REVIEW
Another great pager-turner from one of my favorite authors. A tech startup is having their company retreat on a high-end ski chalet. All is well until one of the company’s founders disappears under strange circumstances and the visitors start suspecting whether one of them is to blame.
The story is told from alternating points of view: Erin, one of the chalet’s house keepers and guide, and Liz, one of the visitors that is part of the company group. I loved the setting, which is this snowy, warm inn somewhere on the French alps. The author did a great job developing the story and maintaining suspense.
Overall, it was entertaining and fast paced, I read the book in three seatings and highly recommend it.

Getting snowed in at a beautiful, rustic mountain chalet doesn’t sound like the worst problem in the world, especially when there’s a breathtaking vista, a cozy fire, and company to keep you warm. But what happens when that company is eight of your coworkers…and you can’t trust any of them?
When an off-site company retreat meant to promote mindfulness and collaboration goes utterly wrong when an avalanche hits, the corporate food chain becomes irrelevant and survival trumps togetherness. Come Monday morning, how many members short will the team be?
