✅ REVIEW
Shai Miller lives in NY but her life is not ideal, she lives with a roommate she has an unreciprocated crush on and her career is a series of unstable, temp jobs.
All changes when she witnesses the suicided of a young woman in the subway, her name was Amanda. Shai becomes interested in knowing Amanda’s background and starts learning about her life and friends.
This is where she becomes involved with Amanda’s friends and her life changes for the better, or worse? I found the first half of the book difficult to get into because there were many characters and took me a bit to become familiar with each of them and not get them confused.
The second half of the book is when the plot picked up for me and was more entertaining. I enjoyed the book but did not love it, I’ve read the authors’ previous novels and found them more engaging. Still, I recommend it to readers of thrillers and mysteries.
