The Whisper Man by Alex North| Published August 20th 2019 by Celadon Books | 355 Pages | Goodreads
✅ REVIEW
This was a chilling and dark read. It is impressive that it is a debut novel, the author did a great job developing the characters and the story.
The recent disappearance of a child in a small town bears a frightening resemblance to the abduction and crimes committed twenty years ago by a now-imprisoned murderer. The detective that investigated the original case is assisting again.
At the same time, a single father is trying to go on with his life after his wife passed away, he is struggling with being a single father to a young boy, specially when his son starts acting strangely in their new home.
I was completely captivated by this book, there were some parts where I had to put the book down because the scenes were deeply disturbing, thankfully nothing graphic, just intense and suspenseful.
Overall, I enjoyed it and recommend it to readers of thrillers and mysteries.
This was a Traveling Sisters read and ARC was provided by the Publisher
