I call it a good book when one walks away with at least one helpful bit of advice that dramatically changes the perspective (for the better) of how you feel, act, or behave about something.
That bit of advice is related to achieving goals. I’m a very goal-oriented person and anything that keeps me motivated, wherever it comes from, it’s gratefully appreciated.
Although the author’s journey and mine are not that similar, I was still able to enjoy listening to her journey and, best of all, learn from her experience and advice. Just for that, I’m happy to have picked up this book.
I recommend the book to those who enjoy nonfiction and books about personal growth.
