THEN SHE WAS GONE is the second book I’ve read and enjoyed from this author. It revolves about the disappearance of Ellie Mack, a fifteen-year old girl and it is a suspenseful, great psychological thriller.

The book follows Laurel Mack, who is Ellie’s mother. It has been 10 years since her daughter went missing and there are still many unanswered questions, which will be explored as the plot unravels.

The author’s style is very distinctive, she takes her time developing the characters and the story, the result is an enriching read that will stay with you long after you finish the book.

I highly enjoyed the book and recommend it to those who enjoy thrillers, mysteries and contemporary fiction.
