PUBLISHER’S DESCRIPTION
“Seeking women ages 18–32 to participate in a study on ethics and morality. Generous compensation. Anonymity guaranteed.
When Jessica Farris signs up for a psychology study conducted by the mysterious Dr. Shields, she thinks all she’ll have to do is answer a few questions, collect her money, and leave. But as the questions grow more and more intense and invasive and the sessions become outings where Jess is told what to wear and how to act, she begins to feel as though Dr. Shields may know what she’s thinking…and what she’s hiding. As Jess’s paranoia grows, it becomes clear that she can no longer trust what in her life is real, and what is one of Dr. Shields’ manipulative experiments. Caught in a web of deceit and jealousy, Jess quickly learns that some obsessions can be deadly.”
REVIEW
I picked up this novel because I enjoyed the authors’ previous book THE WIFE BETWEEN US. I became interested in reading AN ANONYMOUS GIRL as soon as I learned about it.
What if you sign up to be part of a psychological study and you end up entangled in a lot more than you asked for? This is the premise of the book and let me tell you it does not disappoint.
“One of them is lying. But who?”
That is the question you’ll be asking yourself again and again as you read it. This is an addictive and suspenseful novel, the plot kept me turning the pages wanting to know more. The authors did a great job at building and maintaining intrigue throughout the novel, at every chapter you will be wondering which character should you trust and believe.
Overall, I enjoyed it and recommend it to readers of psychological thrillers, mysteries and contemporary fiction,.
Received ARC from the publisher via Netgalley

Thank you!
How does this one compare to The Wife Between Us? Which did you enjoy more? My galley pile wants to know where this one should sit…;)
Great review, as always!
I liked THE WIFE BETWEEN US better 😬😬😬
Nice review Carol. I find the debut book is often better than the second one, but it looks like you still enjoyed it. I have this one to read as well. Will get to it eventually.
I enjoyed it but also liked the first book better. Hope you enjoy it when you get to it 😊
