REVIEW
Another excellent novel from Wendy Walker! This is going to be a very biased review because I love this author’s previous novels and this one is just as compelling.
Laura goes on a date with someone she met on a dating site, is the next day she has not returned and that is all I’m sharing about this book! It was an addictive and twisty read. The author does a great job at creating intrigue and maintaining suspense throughout the novel.
The novel is narrated from alternating points of view and perfectly paced. What I love about this author’s books is the way she integrates psychology into her stories in a way that is relatable and believable. What can be more interesting than the human psyches.
Overall, I loved it and highly recommend it to readers of thrillers, mysteries, and contemporary fiction.
Thanks to St. Martins’ Press and Wendy Walker for the eARC.
* I read this book with the Traveling Sisters. Our discussions made my experience more enriching and interesting*

Oh so glad you loved it! I have this one sitting on my shelf I’m excited to read it!
Yes, I’ve also enjoyed her other books. Hope you like it!!!
Wonderful review Carol. You have interested me without giving away the story. I wonder what this cover will look like? I have enjoyed her other books, so am looking forward to reading this one.
I think you’ll enjoy it as well, Carla!!!
The backstory alone is enough to make me want to read it (and not, at the same time!). The fact that you only revealed the basic circumstances tells me it gets going right off the bat and a lot happens in this book! Great review, Carol!
Thank you! I like this author a lot, hope you enjoy it!
