There are a lot of great podcasts out there but these are the ones that I listen to on a regular basis. They are fun, interesting, and full of information related to books.
Book Riot – The Podcast
From the Book Riot people, this is a weekly podcast about all things books, from author news to reading trends. It’s excellent!
This is one of the few podcasts that discusses news relating to books and the publishing world in a very engaging way. I look forward to it every week.
Annotated
Also from Book Riot, this is history meets books meets current events meets interesting book facts. It’s absolutely engaging. It feels as if you’re listening to a BBC radio show talking about the most interesting book stories in the world.
Books on the Nightstand
This is a wonderful podcast about great books and related news. This podcast is no longer active but still deep in my heart❤️, the last episode was published on July 2016 and this is a desperate call to Ann and Michael for new episodes, maybe once a year?
Please?
All the Books!
Also from Book Riot (I’m not related in any way to Book Riot, I just love their content). With Liberty and Rebecca at the wheel, they talk about new book releases and recommendations.
It’s engaging and I usually have a smile on my face when I’m listening to it.
I’m always looking for new bookish podcasts to listen to but these are the ones I’ve enjoyed the most. Please let me know your favorites.
I know there is this big book world out there, besides blog reviews and Goodreads – podcasts, Bookstagram, Booktubers – I just have no idea how to squeeze all the extra into my day. Love posts like these, that help cull the herd a little so I have somewhere focused to start. 🙂
I only listen to the podcasts when I’m driving to my monthly bookclub meeting, it’s a long drive and I squeeze them in. I also listen to them while I’m cooking, which is almost everyday.
